One of the questions the employees here at Royal get asked the most is, “What is it like working in a candy warehouse?” The answer is simple: It’s pretty sweet! Our warehouse is filled to the brim with gummy candies, bulk chocolate, lollipops, and tons of other fresh bulk candies. It’s hard to resist all of the sweet temptations around us, but we’d do anything to provide our customers with the highest quality wholesale chocolate and candy. One of the aspects of Royal that we take great pride in is our candy warehouse. It's our central operating hub and it’s where we house the most important part of our business… our confectionery inventory!

The hottest new products in the confectionery industry are candies and chocolates that contain CBD and THC. Here at Royal, we now carry a high-quality line of CBD gummies and tinctures from Funky Farms as well as a decadent array of CBD chocolates from Incentive Gourmet. While we know these products are delicious and contain high-quality CBD, we understand that many of our customers have a lot of questions and concerns when it comes to these types of products, and rightfully so. For those of you who are new to CBD, the information available on the subject can be confusing. We’ve put together this blog post to help answer some common questions related to CBD confectionery so that you can feel confident in choosing which products are right for you. Please be aware that the information we’re providing is not intended to be used in place of professional legal or medical advice.

It’s been around for thousands of years as there’s evidence that suggests it was a present in Egyptian, Chinese, Greek, Roman, and Hindu civilizations. Back in its early days, licorice was not the sweet treat as we know it but rather used as an herbaceous plant revered for its medicinal properties. So how did “licorice” become a term used to refer to a type of candy?
